SPLASH 2004
Join the fun on this 7th annual motorcycling event.
This
annual event is not officially an organized ride. Civilian motorcycle enthusiasts take it
upon themselves to infiltrate the Mount St Helens area of southern Washington State.
If you want to join
in the fun be aware that there is no ride support. Just book a room, pack a bag and enjoy
some of the best roads that Washington has to offer.
The group meets
Friday afternoon at Horseshoe Lake in Woodland, WA. We spend the first night in Woodland
and the riding begins Saturday morning with a spirited run through the twisties of Mount
St Helens. Two routes are offered; one for those wanting to take their time and another
for the more adventureous riders. Both routes converge on the sleepy town of Packwood, WA
where we spend our second night before heading home Sunday.
