Border Raid 2003

 

Labor Day weekend American and Canadian riders encounter some of the finest twisty roads in Southern British Columbia.

Flawless weather and over 20 bikes turn up for this annual adventure ride.

Interesting mix of people and bikes. Buell, Harley, Suzuki, Triumph, BMW and Honda

Some took the gondola up for a nice dinner, others milled about the village enjoying the night life and keeping well hydrated.

Sunday morning over 23 motorcyclists gather to ride north from Whistler, B.C. along Duffy Lake Road.

The scenery is beautiful.


Duffy Lake is a great place to regroup with our motorcycle companions. A spirited ride with over 20 motorcyclists.

 

A medley of winding back country roads,

cambered mountainous twisties and

alpine weaving asphalt that promise more esses ahead.


Seton Lake. A fine spot to regroup after a nice section of twisting motorcycle friendly asphalt.

 

 

 

Duffy Lake. Beautiful scenery, great weather and adventurous motorcycling... makes it tough to say goodbye to a few members of the group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deb on her Harley bagger, Gracie. Aptly named, watching her ride is definitely grace in motion.
